What is influencer marketing?

It is the idea of using social media “influencers,” or people who have a significant social media following, for advertising. This type of advertising is effective because people are more likely to trust an opinion or recommendation that comes from someone they know personally.

There are two types of influencer marketing: traditional and digital. Traditional usually involves celebrities and public figures with large social media followings, whereas digital usually refers to bloggers and designers with smaller social media followings.
